    Graduation rates hit 5-year high

    With graduation rates for the Class of 2015 in Florida achieving a 12-year high, Taylor County had the highest graduation rate in at least the last five years but still lagged behind the state as well as many of its neighbors.

    According to data released by the Florida Department of Education (DOE), the county’s graduation rate in 2015 was 64.7 percent, a 15.2 percentage point increase over the previous year.
