Travel expo spotlights ‘our good nature’

What does Taylor County have in common with Lake George, N.Y., Las Vegas, Nev., Maui, Hawaii, Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, the British Virgin Islands and Antarctica, along with Ecuador, Mexico, Japan, China, Italy, Ireland, Egypt and Iran?

They were all represented at the New York Times Travel Show at the Jacob K. Javits Center in New York City this past weekend.

PHOTO: Dawn Taylor and volunteer Roland Loog were on hand this past weekend promoting Natural North Florida, which includes Taylor County, to thousands of people at the New York Times Travel Show in New York City. Their booth was one of about a dozen from Florida and among the more than 100 exhibitors from around the globe.
