Although work is not expected to begin for a few more years, the Taylor County Commission took a necessary step recently on three state-funded bridge replacements in the county.
Last Monday, county commissioners unanimously approved construction and maintenance agreements with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) which will allow the state agency to fund, design, manage and construct the bridges at no cost to the county.
