TCSO seizes $50,000 in drugs, cash after chase

Deputies seized an estimated $50,000 worth of illegal drugs and cash following a high-speed chase down Johnson Stripling Road that ended with the suspect being airlifted to Tallahassee after sustaining serious injuries when he crashed his vehicle into two power poles.

Darrius Beasley, 25, of Perry, remained hospitalized as of presstime Thursday.
