In order to develop what County Administrator Dustin Hinkel is calling a “blueprint” for future county operations, the commission has issued a solicitation seeking firms to develop an assessment for all county facilities, including the courthouse.
Overcrowding at the courthouse has been a hot-button issue at the past several county commission meetings, but the board agreed to hold off on any immediate action to shift particular offices to other buildings until “an expert” could be brought in to help determine the best course of action.
