Plea agreement gives Flowers 30 months for beating death

A Perry man charged with the May 2014 beating death of his girlfriend has pled guilty to manslaughter and been sentenced to 30 months in prison.

In court proceedings last week, Judge Greg Parker accepted the plea agreement reached between Harold J. Flowers, 59, and the State Attorney’s Office.
