Crouse will compete at state meet

Taylor County High School’s Jordan Crouse has advanced to the Girls State Weightlifting Meet to be held this Thursday and Friday in Kissimee.

The TCHS senior will be competing in the 169-pound class. She came in second at the district meet on Jan. 15 at Ft. White High School and placed second again at regionals with a 105-pound bench press and a 165-pound clean and jerk for a combined total of 270 pounds. The state regional meet was also held at Ft. White High on Jan.
