Man, 21, survives shot to neck

A 21-year-old Perry man was shot in the neck, sustaining what officers call a “through and through,” following a verbal disturbance Saturday, Jan. 30, outside the Stop & Shop convenience store located on North Highway 19.

James Lee Williams was airlifted to Shands Memorial Hospital for treatment and has since been discharged and is home recovering.
