    Council wants city to pay for Eternal Flame

    The eternal flame at Veterans Memorial Park is once again burning brightly and, on Tuesday, the Perry City Council is expected to discuss ways to keep it that way.

    Councilman Alan Hall broached the subject at the council’s last meeting after the non-profit group underwriting the cost to keep the flame lit expressed concerns regarding the fluctuating monthly bills.
