Taylor County Historical Society President J.T. Davis has announced special extended hours Thursday, Feb. 18.

“We will be open to 7:30 p.m. Residents are invited to stop by and share family photos with us. We can simply scan them into our computer and that’s it. You keep the originals,” he said. “February is Black History Month so we encourage local families to look in their albums and select historical photos to share.”
