Steinhatchee woman murdered

The Taylor County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) is investigating the homicide of a Steinhatchee woman found dead in her residence Tuesday night,
Feb. 9.

TCSO received a 911 call from a home on Riverside Drive and upon arrival, deputies found Colleen Thomas, 59, deceased. The medical examiner has ruled her death a homicide.
