    NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATION
    Pursuant to Section 287.055, Florida Statutes, notice is hereby given that the Taylor County Coastal Water & Sewer District is accepting statement of qualifications from interested Engineering firms, Specialized Consulting firms and individuals experienced in the development of Drinking Water System Improvements.
    Only those firms or individuals submitting statements of qualifications that meet the requirements herein specified will be considered regardless of past contracts with TCW&.SD. or other agencies.
    interested firms or Individuals will be evaluated and selected under the competitive selection procedure of Florida Statute 287.055(4) (b). The Board may require public presentations by, no fewer than three firms regarding their qualifications, approach to the project, and ability to furnish the required services.
    Qualified firms or individuals desiring to provide the required products or services must submit ten (10) packages in a sealed envelope or similar package marked “Sealed Proposal for Drinking Water System improvements” to the Taylor Coastal Water & Sewer District, 18820 Beach Road, Perry, Florida 32348 to arrive no later than 4:00 P.M. EST on Tuesday, March 22, 2016. All the responses MUST have the respondent’s name and mailing address clearly shown on the outside of the envelope or package when submitted.
    RFQs will be opened and respondents announced at 3:05 P.M. EST, or as soon as thereafter as practical, at the regular TCW&SD Commission meeting on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at 18820 Beach Road, Perry, Florida 32348.

    The Taylor Coastal Water and Sewer District reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to reject any or all responses to its request, for qualifications, to cancel or withdraw this request, or at any time waive any irregularities in the RFQ process. TCW&SD reserves the right to award any contract(s) to the respondent which it deems to offer the best overall service, therefore. TCW&SD is not bound to award any contract(s) based on a quoted price, TCW&SD, in its sole and absolute discretion, also reserves the right to waive minor defects in the process and to accept the proposal deemed to be in the District’s best interest. The Taylor Coastal Water and Sewer District encourages disadvantaged, minority, and women-owned firms to respond.
