Teen tangles with water moccasin

For Taylor County High School (TCHS) sophomore Josh Mixon, Spring Break 2016 is one he, and his parents, Scott and Lori, is likely never to forget.

The 15-year-old quarterback for the Taylor County High School football team was bitten twice by what doctors believe was a juvenile water moccasin while doing yard work Monday. He was airlifted to Shands Hospital in Gainesville, spent a night in ICU and received a total of 22 doses of anti-venom.
