Special Olympics in-shore fishing tournament scheduled for April 16

The 7th annual Special Olympics In-Shore Fishing Tournament will be held Saturday, April 16, along the Taylor County coast.

The event, sponsored by the Taylor County Law Enforcement Torch Run Committee, will pay $500 to the anglers with the largest trout and redfish. There will also be a $750 prize for the Trout/Red Slam. Other prizes will also be awarded, including a $50 prize for the largest shiner for kids 12 and under.
