230 play in youth baseball leagues

Some 230 youngsters from age 4 to age 15 are currently participating in the Taylor County Babe Ruth/Cal Ripken baseball leagues. The kids are divided up between 19 teams.

The season got underway March 21 and will continue through May, according to Recreation Director Patrick Dew.
