Emily Grace Coker, 15, passed from this life to her eternal home on Saturday, May 21, 2016.

Emily’s death followed a year of health and great joy after receiving a kidney transplant from a family friend. It was the result of an infection which severely compromised her heart. Emily was born on Nov. 9, 2000, to parents Travis and Teresa Coker of Perry.

Her family invites everyone to attend a celebration of a life well-lived at First Baptist Church on Thursday, May 26, at 4 p.m.  There will be a pot luck meal open to all and visitation with the family beginning at 2 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a fund for the Cokers’ expenses at Capital City Bank.Donations to the account can be made through Cornerstone Church, with a memo that earmarks the donation for the Coker family.
