‘Every resource’ in the air, on the water searching for missing boater

The U.S. Coast Guard had “all the resources we have” on the water and in the air as the search for missing boater Edward “Eddie” Viola, 53, of Steinhatchee entered its second day Tuesday.

Viola was reported missing Monday morning after passing fishermen found his girlfriend, Cheryl Sims, 50, also of Steinhatchee, clinging to a single float (seat) cushion some nine miles southwest of the Steinhatchee River.
