Volunteer crews search Taylor, Dixie coastline

Shifting winds and currents prompted crews to concentrate additional efforts on land Wednesday in the search for missing boater Edward “Eddie” Viola, 53, last seen Sunday evening.

The Florida Fish & Wildlife Commission (FWC) has lifted restrictions on wildlife management areas located between Steinhatchee and Cedar Key for volunteer access.
