Hey, come on get Yappy!
Helping Hands of the Shelter will hold its first “Yappy Hour” Bark in the Park event today (Friday) from 4-6 p.m. at Angel’s Dog Park on Church Street.
The event is being held in honor of the late Angel Ketring, for whom the park is named.
“Let your dog enjoy the pool and the agility area, chase bubbles and snack on chicken casserole while sipping doggie daiquiris,” Helping Hands of the Shelter volunteers said.
Dogs must have proof of current rabies vaccination and be on a leash. A $2 donation is suggested for participation.
