    NOTICE
    Pursuant to Section 2.13(B) of the City Charter of the City of Perry, Florida, notice is hereby
    given that the City Council had Introduction and First Reading on Ordinance No. 960 on
    May 24, 2016 in the City Council Chambers, 224 S. Jefferson Street, Perry, Florida. A
    Public Hearing and Final Reading on Ordinance No. 960 is scheduled for June 14, 2016 in the Regular Meeting City Council Room, 224 S. Jefferson Street, Perry, Florida
    at 5:30 p. m. or as soon thereafter as possible. The public hearing may be continued to a
    future date at the meeting, without further legal notice advertisement in the local newspaper. The public hearing date will be set at a future Council meeting. Any interested persons may appear and be heard on the aforementioned public hearing date. Notice is also given, pursuant to Florida Statutes 286.0105 that any person deciding to appeal any decision of the City Council with respect to any matter considered at the meeting will need a record of that meeting and may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceeding is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be heard.

    BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
    CITY OF PERRY, FLORIDA
    NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the ordinances, which titles hereinafter appear, will be considered for enactment by the City Council of City of Perry, Florida, at public hearings on June 14, 2016, at 5:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matters can be heard, in the City Council Meeting Room, City Hall, located at 224 South Jefferson Street, Perry, Florida. Copies of said ordinances may be inspected by any member of the public at the Office of the City Manager, City Hall, located at 224 South Jefferson Street, Perry, Florida, during regular business hours.     AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PERRY, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE TEXT OF THE CITY OF PERRY LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS, AS AMENDED, PURSUANT TO AN APPLICATION, LDR 16-01, BY THE CITY COUNCIL; PROVIDING FOR AMENDING Article Two entitled, Definitions to delete certain definitions, by deleting and replacing in its entirety Article Eight entitled, Flood Damage Prevention Regulations to comply with Federal Emergency Management Agency regulations, by deleting in its entirety Section 12.1.2 entitled Flood Damage Prevention Regulations Appeals Provisions and Section 12.3.3 entitled Variances to Flood Damage Prevention Regulations, by adopting flood hazard maps; PROVIDING SEVERABILITY; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
    The public hearings may be continued to one or more future dates. Any interested party shall be advised that the date, time and place of any continuation of the public hearings shall be announced during the public hearings and that no further notice concerning the matters will be published, unless said continuation exceeds six calendar weeks from the date of the above referenced public hearings.
    All persons are advised that, if they decide to appeal any decision made at the public hearings, they will need a record of the proceedings and, for such purpose, they may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
