Taylor County’s 10-under girls’ softball team won its first-ever Babe Ruth District 4 championship this past weekend in a tournament played in Mayo.

In all, four Taylor County teams–14U, 12U, 10U and 8U–have qualified for the state tournament to be played June 30 through July 4 in Lake City.
