Beach fires ‘total loss’

Taylor County Fire-Rescue responded to two fires in the beaches area this week, both resulting in “complete losses” to the property owners.

Fire Chief Dan Cassel said the first fire was reported shortly after midnight Sunday, June 5, on Spoonbill Road.
