Park progress

What was once simply a design on paper is quickly becoming a reality as crews plow through the initial groundwork required for what will become Rosehead park and lake (Phase II). Excavation for the lake has begun and is filling with water.

“We hit a few springs, which we anticipated, so the lake will be spring-fed. The new creek channel is mostly constructed. They will begin foundation work for the new buildings in few days,” City Manager Bob Brown said Thursday.
