Blood drive to help after Orlando tragedy

OneBlood will host a blood drive Friday, June 17, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Capital City Bank.

“With the tragedy this weekend, Orlando is in need of blood,” organizers said. “OneBlood is the blood bank that supplies Orlando area hospitals, as well as 85 percent of the state of Florida.”

Donors at Friday’s drive will receive a t-shirt and a wellness checkup. Ask a bank associate about how to sign up. Walk-ins are welcome.
