Lost hat? Here’s the ‘rest of the story’ behind boat crash

Reading the lead headline in Wednesday’s Taco Times, Ronnie Gipson, 24, shook his head and said, “I thought you would want to hear from someone who was in that first boat.”

The headline he referred to reported a two-boat collision caused by a lost hat that happened Tuesday morning in the channel off Keaton Beach.
