Emily Saunders Simpson, 84, a longtime resident of Perry, Florida passed away on June 7, 2016 in the Louisiana Heart Hospital in Lacombe, LA after having just this past year moved to Mandeville, LA.

Emily was born on March 14, 1932 in Eastman, Georgia to T.J. Saunders and Willie Mae Saunders.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2016 from 4:30-7 p.m. at Joe P. Burns Funeral Home of Perry.

Graveside services will follow immediately afterwards in the adjacent Pine View Memorial Cemetery with Pastor Darrell Jones officiating.

In Perry all arrangements are under the direction of Joe P. Burns Funeral Home.
