Demps brings years of public service to county commissioner, Dist. 5, bid

Touting his experience in municipal governance, former city council member and mayor Thomas Demps wants to returns to public service, this time as the county commission representative for Dist. 5.

“I would consider it a great honor to serve the citizens of Taylor County, and particularly my neighbors in District 5, as their commissioner. I believe my experience, background and commitment to Taylor County and its citizenry qualifies me to be your commissioner. I hope that your assessment of my record and candidacy will convince you (the voters) that I am worthy of your vote,” Demps said.
