The Taylor County School District has begun the new year with more students than previously predicted, which could bring a six-figure financial windfall for the district if the counts hold until October.
According to Superintendent Paul Dyal, the new school year began well, with the usual transportation delays experienced each year as younger students learn their buses and routines.
