Some films never get a wide enough release to make it to a theater nearby.
Sadly, one of those films is the highly entertaining “Mr. Right,” starring Sam Rockwell (“Moon”) as a hitman who now only kills the people who hire him, and Anna Kendrick (“Pitch Perfect”) as a woman dealing with a bad breakup.
When the two meet, hilarity ensues, unlike similar films such as “Knight and Day” or “The Killers.” I wouldn’t call this a great movie, but it has just the right level of over-the-top dark-edged comedy to keep me laughing.
“Mr. Right” is now available for online rental. To check out my full bonus review of the movie, visit my Youtube channel at: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC4I4di3_VyYts4g0gBZySUg or by searching for Mark Viola.
