Authors to speak at library Sept. 26

Two authors from Mayo will be at the Taylor County Public Library on Monday, Sept. 26.

Delores Leggett Walker and Jonnie Kidd Whittington will be guest speakers at the monthly meeting of the Friends of the Taylor County Public Library which begins at 5:30 p.m.

Walker is the author of the “Promise” series as well as “Sailor,” the first novel in her new “Destiny Diaries” series. Whittington is author of “The Kidd Family Adventure Series” and “Katy Kidd’s Coloring Books.”

The meeting is free and the public is invited to attend. The library is located at 402 N. Washington St.
