Taylor County United Way officially kicked off its 2016-17 campaign, calling it an opportunity to make the community “happier, healthier, safer and stronger.”
The annual kick-off breakfast was held Monday, Sept. 26, at the Taylor County Senior Citizen Center with 75 people present to hear United Way of the Big Bend Campaign Chair Julie Montanaro talk about this year’s campaign, whose theme is “Give the Gift of Opportunity.”
