Thanksgiving outreach planned Saturday, Nov. 19

The annual Thanksgiving meal outreach will be held Saturday, Nov. 19, at The Grand Pavilion at Rosehead Park from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Organizers invite local churches and civic organizations to support the event through donations of time or funds.

More than 1,000 dinner plates of chicken, dressing, green beans, rolls and desserts are expected to be given away.

The event will also serve as a fund-raiser for the Taylor County Recovery Center.
