In a game that truly was a tale of two halves, the Taylor County Bulldogs overcame two first-half turnovers to take a 22-17 lead, but then gave up 43 unanswered points in the second half as the Newberry Panthers rolled to a 60-22 blow-out win Friday night in Newberry.
The Class 1A play-off bound Panthers (8-1) forced a Bulldog fumble on the opening play of the game, scooping and scoring from 18 yards out to take a 7-0 lead just 16 seconds into the first quarter.
