Veterans honored Nov. 11

Taylor County JROTC will mark a 30-year milestone Friday, Nov. 11, when cadets host their annual Veterans Day ceremony honoring the community’s veterans and their families.

Program highlights will include presentations of the winning submissions in this year’s Voice of Democracy essay contest. Jarrett Touchton took home first place and Dhruvil Patel second for their papers focusing on the theme “My Responsibility to America.”
