Bulldogs travel to Jacksonville for state playoffs

The Taylor County High football team, runners-up in Class 3A, District 1, will travel to Jacksonville Friday, Nov. 11, to take on three-time defending state champ Trinity Christian in the first round of the state playoffs.

The Bulldogs (6-4) are coming off a tough stretch at the end of the season where in the last few days they had to battle for a district title, compete in a 3-way tiebreaker for that title, then face once-beaten Newberry last Friday.
