17 apply for county administrator spot

The Taylor County Commission has received 17 applications for its soon-to-be-open county administrator position.

The board will meet Thursday, Dec. 8, at 6 p.m. to short-list the candidates down to those they wish to interview, which is expected to number between three and five. The meeting will be held at the Courthouse Annex on Green Street.
