Construction underway

“Let’s build this house!” Taylor County Habitat for Humanity’s Cecile Hance exclaimed at ground-breaking ceremonies for the first home-build project undertaken by the group in 15 years.

PHOTO: (L to r) Homeowner Angela Blair and her son, Brendon Newham, said they were looking forward to working on the home as construction gets underway. Habitat President Angela Ball helped with ground-breaking honors. Citizens State Bank presented a $10,000 donation to the group at the ceremony and First Presbyterian Church gave $3,000 on behalf of its congregation.
