Youth rodeo set for Dec. 10

Little Crackers Rodeo will host its next event Saturday, Dec. 10, at the 4-H Arena at Forest Capital Park during the Southern Pines Blues & BBQ Festival.

Admission is $10 at the gate and $8 in advance; kids 6 and under are free. All contestant entry fees are $15; the event will include $300 added money in the bull riding with 20 entries maximum. All safety equipment, bull ropes and riggings provided.

Events at Saturday’s rodeo will include: mutton busting (sheep), 6-under; mini bulls/ calves, 7-10; junior bulls, 11- 14; bucking pony/mini horses, 7-14; lead line barrel racing, 9-under; standard barrel racing, 14-under; goat tying, 14-under; and foot race goat ribbon pull, open age.
