Property damage from Hermine? Meet Dec. 8 in Steinhatchee

Due to the extent of damage from Hurricane Hermine in Steinhatchee, Taylor County Emergency Management officials have decided to hold a second Local Mitigation Strategy Committee meeting.

The meeting will be held this Thursday, Dec. 8, at 2 p.m. at the Steinhatchee Community Center. Residents who have property damage due to Hurricane Hermine are encouraged to attend. Topics of discussion will include mitigation projects, such as repetitive flood loss property and flood damaged property that may qualify for future mitigation grants.
