Driver wanted deputy to follow her to former sheriff’s home

A woman who reportedly wanted a deputy to follow her to former Sheriff L.E. “Bummy” William’s home at one o’clock in the morning was, instead, arrested for driving under the influence (DUI).

The incident happened on Riverside Drive during the early morning hours Sunday, June 25.
