Judge Blue to preside at murder trial?

A conflict in scheduling has Circuit Judge Greg Parker out-of-town the week of July 24 and opens the door for County Judge Bill Blue to preside over his first criminal (felony) trial.

Jury selection is slated to begin Monday, July 24, for the trial of Raymond “Little Ray” Parker Jr., 50, who is charged with first degree murder for the stabbing death of his former girlfriend, Colleen Thomas, 59.
