    NOTICE
    The 2017 Tax Roll will be open for collection on November 1, 2017. Discounts will be allowed for early payment. 2017 Schedule of Discounts:
    4% November 1 thru November 30, 2017
    3% December 1 thru December 31, 2017
    2% January 1 thru January 31, 2018
    1% February 1 thru Feb 28, 2018
    Net tax is due in March 2018
    Taxes will become delinquent on April 1, 2018
    Unpaid Ad Valorem and Non Ad Valorem Tax will be advertised in May 2018.
    The Property Tax Department is located on the 2nd floor of the Taylor County Courthouse and can be contacted at 850-838-3580.
    The Motor Vehicle & Fish & Wildlife Department is located on the 1st floor of the Taylor County Courthouse and can be contacted at 850-838-3517

    Pursuant to Section 2.13(B) of the City Charter of the City of Perry, Florida, notice is hereby given that the City Council had Introduction and First Reading on Ordinance No. 974 on October 24, 2017 in the City Council Chambers, 224 S. Jefferson Street, Perry, Florida. A Public Hearing and Final Reading on Ordinance No. 974 is scheduled for November 14, 2017 in the Regular Meeting City Council Room, 224 S. Jefferson Street, Perry, Florida at 5:30 p. m. or as soon thereafter as possible. The public hearing may be continued to a future date at the meeting, without further legal notice advertisement in the local newspaper. The public hearing date will be set at a future Council meeting. Any interested persons may appear and be heard on the aforementioned public hearing date. Notice is also given, pursuant to Florida Statutes 286.0105 that any person deciding to appeal any decision of the City Council with respect to any matter considered at the meeting will need a record of that meeting and may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceeding is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be heard.
