    NOTICE
    NOTICE is hereby given that the Board of County Commissioners, Taylor County, Florida, did at their regular meeting held on Monday, 6th day of November, 2017, after due and proper Notice of Public Hearing, close and abandon the certain portions of or parts of the streets, alleys, or roads, located in Taylor County Florida, on behalf of Pete Caucci and Cynthia Caucci, Husband and Wife, whose Post Office address is 85 Hillsway Drive, Douglas, Georgia 31535, as evidenced by the below Resolution in compliance with Chapter 336.10 Florida Statutes:
    RESOLUTION
    BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF TAYLOR COUNTY, FLORIDA:
    1. That, pursuant to the Notice of Proceedings for Closing of Streets duly published according to law, proof of publication of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, a hearing was duly held at 6:00 o’clock p.m. on the 6th day of November, A.D. 2017, to consider and determine whether or not the County would vacate, abandon, discontinue, and close certain roads in Taylor County, Florida, more particularly described in the proof of publication attached hereto. At the time and place set for said hearing, all persons interested were given the opportunity to be heard. The Board of County Commissioners of Taylor County, Florida, determined that the proposed action of vacating, abandoning, discontinuing, and closing certain roads herein more particularly described will not deprive any person of a reasonable means of ingress and egress to his premises and will not materially interfere with the County’s road system.
    2. That, the certain roads herein described be, and the same is hereby, vacated, abandoned, and discontinued and the Board of County Commissioners hereby renounces and disclaims any right of the County and public in and to any land or interest therein contained in the certain roads in Taylor County, Florida, more particularly described as:
    DESCRIPTION:
    A parcel of land, being that part of Fifth Street Northeast, as shown on the plat of STEINHATCHEE, a subdivision recorded in the Public Records of Taylor County, Florida in Plat Book 1, Pages 26 and 27, lying between Blocks 72 and 77 and being more particularly described as follows:
    Begin at the southeast corner of Lot 12, Block 77 of the STEINHATCHEE SUBDIVISION, as recorded in Plat Book 1, Page 26 of the Public Records of Taylor County, Florida and run North 01 degrees 25 minutes 49 seconds West along the west right of way line of Fifth Street, NE, a distance of 180.90 feet to the northeast corner of said Lot 12; thence run North 70 degrees 58 minutes 27 seconds East along the southerly right of way line of Central Avenue, East, a distance of 55.07 feet; thence continue along said right of way line, North 88 degrees 34 minutes 11 seconds East, a distance of 47.50 feet to the northwest corner of Lot 1, Block 72 of said subdivision; thence run South 01 degrees 25 minutes 49 seconds East along the easterly right of way line of Fifth Street, NE and the west line of said Lot 1, a distance of 197.57 feet to the southwest corner of said Lot 1; thence run South 88 degrees 34 minutes 53 seconds West, a distance of 100.00 feet to the Point of Beginning.
    Said parcel contains 0.44 acres, more or less.

    NOTICE OF INTENT TO USE THE UNIFORM METHOD OF COLLECTING NON-AD VALOREM ASSESSMENTS
    The Board of Supervisors (“Board”) of the Florida Green Finance Authority (“Authority”), hereby provides notice, pursuant to Sections 163.08(4) and 197.3632(3)(a), Florida Statutes, of its intent to use the uniform method of collecting non-ad valorem assessments for more than one year to be levied within the area encompassed by the boundaries of Baker County, Florida; Bay County, Florida; Bradford County, Florida; Calhoun County, Florida; Citrus County, Florida; Clay County, Florida; Columbia County, Florida; DeSoto County, Florida; Dixie County, Florida; Flagler County, Florida; Franklin County, Florida, Gadsden County, Florida; Gilchrist County, Florida; Glades County, Florida; Gulf County, Florida; Hamilton County, Florida; Hardee County, Florida; Hendry County, Florida; Hernando County, Florida; Highlands County, Florida; Holmes County, Florida; Jackson County, Florida; Jefferson County, Florida; Lafayette County, Florida; Liberty County, Florida; Madison County, Florida; Monroe County, Florida; Nassau County, Florida; Okaloosa County, Florida; Okeechobee County, Florida; Putnam County, Florida; Santa Rosa County, Florida; St. Johns County, Florida; Suwannee County, Florida; Taylor County, Florida; Union County, Florida; Wakulla County, Florida; Walton County, Florida; Washington County, Florida, and any additional counties or municipalities of the State of Florida subsequently joining the Authority’s statewide program for financing the cost of providing energy conservation and efficiency improvements, renewable energy improvements and wind resistance improvements, in accordance with Section 163.08, Florida Statutes (collectively “Qualifying Improvements”). The non-ad valorem assessments contemplated by this notice are voluntary and only imposed by the Authority with the prior written consent of affected property owners who wish to obtain financing for Qualifying Improvements from the Authority. The Board will consider the adoption of a resolution electing to use the uniform method of collecting such assessments as authorized by Section 197.3632, Florida Statutes, at a public hearing to be held at 2:00 p.m., EST, December 7, 2017, at the Town of Mangonia Park Municipal Center located at 1755 East Tiffany Drive, Mangonia Park, Florida 33407. Such resolution will state the need for the levy and will contain a legal description of the boundaries of the real property that may be subject to the levy. Copies of the proposed form of resolution are on file at the office of the Authority’s Manager, Special District Services, Inc., 2501A Burns Road, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida 33410. All interested persons are invited to attend and present oral comments at the public hearing and/or submit written comments to the Authority through its Manager at 2501A Burns Road, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida 33410. Written comments should be received by the Authority on or before December 1, 2017. Any persons desiring to present oral comments should appear at the public hearing.
    In the event any person decides to appeal any decision by the Board with respect to any matter relating to the consideration of the resolution at the referenced public hearing, a record of the proceeding may be needed and in such an event, such person may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the public hearing is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence on which the appeal is to be based.     Notice of 45-Day Public Comment Period For Taylor County RESTORE Act Multi-Year Implementation Plan (MYP)
    This is a notice that Gulf County has created its draft Multi-Year Implementation Plan (MYP) and will be submitting the MYP to the U.S. Department of Treasury in accordance with RESTORE Act regulations, terms and conditions. The MYP will be made available to the public on November 8, 2017 for a period of 45 days. A hard copy of the MYP will be available at the Taylor County Administrative Complex located at 201 East Green Street, Perry, Florida 32347 from Monday to Friday during normal business hours, and at the Taylor County Grants Department located at Perry Foley Airport, 401 Industrial Park Drive, Perry, Florida 32348 from Monday to Friday during normal business hours. All Taylor County government offices will be closed Friday November 10, 2017 in honor of Veterans Day and November 23 and 24, 2017 in celebration of the Thanksgiving holidays. An electronic copy will be available on www.taylorcountygov.com. The public comment period will close December 22, 2017.
