Register today for Christmas parade

Applications are currently being accepted for the “Santa’s Little Helpers” Christmas Parade planned Friday, Dec. 1, in
conjunction with the annual Downtown Christmas Open House.

All entries must be lighted, and organizers ask that no candy be thrown during the parade. Applications are available at the Perry-Taylor County Chamber of Commerce. Santa Claus will be the parade’s “Grand Marshal.”

Following the parade, Santa and Mrs. Claus will be at the Taylor County Historical Society to share milk and cookies and listen to “wish lists.”

Additional activities will include a tree-lighting ceremony, chili supper and a gingerbread house contest.
