A move to clear up some confusion over a revised purchasing policy – which would have lowered the amount a county administrator and/or his designee could spend on single line item purchases without board approval — was tabled by county commissioners at the prodding of County Commissioner Frank Russell.
At the beginning of the county’s Nov. 6 meeting, Russell asked that item #30 on the agenda be removed: “The Board to consider approval of revised purchasing policy, as agenda-ed by the County Administrator.”
