County pursues $442,00 in upgrades for Forest Capital Hall

County officials are pursuing a major $442,000 renovation project for Forest Capital Hall and seeking a $215,000 state grant to help fund the improvements.

In April, the Taylor County Commission held two public hearings to discuss the Department of State Cultural Facilities Grant Program’s 2014-15 funding cycle and agreed at that time to seek funds for the Capital Hall project.
