Russell voices objection to county administrator form of government

A debate over how county staff should handle administration of grants sparked a heated exchange between Commissioner Frank Russell and County Administrator Ted Lakey during the county’s Dec. 12 meeting.

The disagreement over how a new grant management policy should be worded escalated to the point Russell voiced his displeasure with the amount of authority commissioners give to an administrator under the current county administrator form of government.
