Each new year is supposed to bring hope, but 2017 brought with it worry and concern for Kathy Flores and Victor Amador, after their one-year-old son, Noah Nicolas Amador, fell sick with an unknown illness and was later diagnosed with an extremely rare form of cancer.
The diagnosis was just the beginning of a year-long odyssey consumed by visits to doctors and hospitals, multiple rounds of treatments and an uncertain future.
PHOTO: Two-year-old Noah Nicholas Amador had a rough 2017 after he was diagnosed with skull-based chordoma, but he has been responding well to treatments, and his family hopes 2018 will be better.
