Roll-off issues raise a stink with commissioners

Frustration over citizen complaints about county solid waste roll-off sites boiled over at the county’s Jan. 2 meeting, to the point several commissioners indicated they may be willing to make changes in leadership if problems can’t be resolved.

Feagle and Commissioner Malcolm Page both requested that roll-off site operations be placed on the agenda, and Page led off the discussion by stating, “I have received more phone calls in the past few weeks about Harrison Blue roll-off site than any other issue except possibly the move to site a power plant here years ago.”
