Luther Powell, 72, died Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2017.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Jan. 6, at 11 a.m. at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Perry. Internment will follow immediately after at Springhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends today (Friday) Jan. 5 from 4-6 p.m. at Evans-Walker Funeral Home in Perry.
